SJVCEO's hub for energy efficiency news, insight, and impact
March Spotify Industry Series | PROJECT TEAMS
It’s one thing to find success as an organization but another entirely to be a part of a winning team. This month we’re not just talking about Team SJVCEO, but project teams—groups representing varying interests and constituents to create something bigger, something better, something like…Voltron.
January Spotify | I'm a Watt?
The SJVCEO is BACK for another year of curated song favorites and industry themes to match! To start of 2022, we want to bring the POWER back into the year. Watt signifies power?
December Spotify | Keep on SHINING!
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art—write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
November Spotify | Too Much Toxicity
Addressing the importance of tackling Green House Gas emissions, will only help us reach our local climate and energy goals- and why not use our November Spotify playlist to bring awareness to the toxicity of GHG emissions.
September Spotify | Industry Series PII: All the Acronyms
And that’s just us. This whole business is lousy with acronyms and the worst people are the ones who don’t bother to speak the whole thing out.
July Spotify | a BLOCKBUSTER sequel!
Who doesn’t love a sequel? In celebration of some of us being brave enough to return to the movie theatre, or those of us just really excited for Black Widow to run for free on Disney+ we gladly bring back the soundtrack* playlist!
June Spotify | Feeling extra NOSTALGIC
Whether Nostalgia for you is a song that came out last week, last year, or 50 years ago, take a look at our choices below!
May Spotify | Living and LANGUISHING
How come after more than a year of opining our locked down way of life we struggle to move out of it?
March Spotify | GLORY to us all!
Come one, come all! The March playlist and all of it’s GLORY is HERE!
February Spotify: all the HEARTBREAK
While Valentine’s Day may be hearts and flowers for some, this year we ride for the broken hearted, the unattached, the one’s doing their very best to pick themselves up and move the heck on!
SJVCEO | 2020 in Review
What a year it has BEEN for the SJVCEO! Like most of you, we have been confined to our homes since March 13th, but somehow, through all the chaos, we have made it through another year. We wanted to share our 2020 experiences and lessons learned a little different this year. Please click through these short clips to see some highlights of what we achieved this year and to hopefully have a laugh or two!
November Spotify | we are FAMILY
The notion of family is individually meaningful to everyone, from nuclear ‘traditional’ families to downright dysfunctional or wonderfully diverse and modern. Perhaps your family experience is one of raucous laughter from dozens of cousins, or quiet memories with your core people, or maybe friends are the family you choose, Maybe your family has been broken and lost and then rebuilt into something new and more interesting. Whatever the case, there’s a song for that.”
September Spotify- here for the FAVORITES
Let’s talk favorites. But not music. People. In the spirit of September being my birthday month, I wanted to use the playlist as a chance to appreciate mine.
July Spotify- BLOCKBUSTER hits!
Team SJVCEO loves a lot of things, you may have noticed. Helping rural folk, saving energy, Harry Potter, Disneyland. We covered a lot of this already. We also love movies. Sitting together at this point in Endgame? Legendary.
A LOCKDOWN is better with beats
April Spotify- How are things going for Team SJVCEO? Oh, well…Rochelle is thriving in this new work from home world. Samantha is a machine and will excel anywhere. Courtney and Kelsey are dying on the vine from lack of human contact. So, you know, exactly as expected.
SJVCEO loves LOVE (and these songs)
Happy month of love y’all! For this month’s playlist, we wanted to get everyone in their feelings with some love ballads and SLOW JAMZ…
