SCE's Options with Time of Use
The Time of Use rate plans were all officially in full effective for SCE customers as of June 1st, 2022. There are three different TOU rate plans that customers can be enrolled in, so if you missed them, take a look below!

PG&E | Continuing through Time of Use
At this point in time, most eligible residential customers have automatically transitioned to the Time-of-Use rate plan unless they selected another rate plan. As a side note some residential customers were not included in the automatic transition, though they can still select their preferred rate plan.

This is the first summer season where new peak rates have been implemented across all sectors and all California utilities, meaning, peak time is from 4pm to 9pm as opposed to the old timeframe which was noon to 7pm. It is never too late to take a look at your buildings to be sure you are ready for those hot summer months and to be sure they don’t break the bank!
