Kicking Off Earth Day in Visalia!
We had an incredible time celebrating Earth Day with the City of Visalia at our annual event! This gathering is always a highlight of the year, bringing our community together to promote sustainability and share valuable resources. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with various resources such as SoCalREN, SoCalGas, the California Green Business Network, SoCal Edison, and other SJVCEO initiatives—all working toward a clean energy future.
Support for City of Fresno!
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The SJVCEO proudly attended an exciting event in support of our long-standing public agency partner, the City of Fresno. Over the years, we have collaborated on numerous programs and projects, and today, the city is actively participating in our Central California Energy Watch (CCEW) Program. On April 17th, we attended the ribbon cutting for a monumental project for the City! The solar and battery system at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility is now the largest commercial and municipal solar and battery system in the U.S! “Combined, the full portfolio is projected to save the City more than $154 million over the next 20 years. The solar portfolio was constructed by local labor union members from IBEW Local 100, creating 192 local jobs.”
Building Innovations Summit
SJVCEO was proud to participate in another outstanding event, showing support for the City of Fresno and our esteemed energy champion, Ann Kloose, who delivered a keynote address. The 2025 Building Innovations Summit, organized by USGBC Central California, united industry leaders to explore ZNE in action, sustainable building materials, and other advancements shaping the future of construction.

Our focus this April is on the multifamily sector. As you can see in our “Efficiency in Focus” for this month, there are countless multifamily programs that are available for properties across California. These programs are designed for multifamily sites, property managers, and residents.
